I am on adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) for hypersomnia and take it as soon as i wake up, but it is causing insomnia. will it eventually stop causing insomnia?

Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine): Review with your prescribing doctor the dose adjustment and possibility of adding nighttime medications such as Clonidine or rebecca or kapvay.

Sleep study?: If you are taking this for day-time somnulance then you may need a change in dose, a change to the release form of Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) or a different medication. However if you have not had a sleep study yet - that would be important.
