If not an emergency: Teens are usually young and healthy. One's primary care doctor can evaluate to see what is happening. To help her doctor, a teen can write down her symptoms on a calendar diary, recording the symptoms, when they start and stop, what makes them better or worse, past psychological symptoms or past medical symptoms, any medications, smoking or drug use, etc... Her doctor can review the diary.
