I have soft brown crusts on my nipples since over 15 years ago. i don't have any other symptoms, not pain, itchiness, secretions or redness. they get softer when i shower with hot water and sometimes i remove them but always come back.

Can be dry skin: or lack of proper secretions from the glands surrounding the nipples. This should be checked by your doctor to be sure, as this could be related to abnormal skin changes or nipple fluid secretions.
