A member asked:

How contagious is transmissible spongiform encapathy? also, what is the form of transmission? which bodily fluids are considered infectious?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not very contagious: Prions are the little things we worry about when it comes to transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSE's). Prions do not have genetic material such as DNA nor RNA, but they can replicate themselves after moving into a new person. Totally fascinating.
