A member asked:

Hey i seem to have pale bumps in the back of my throat, any idea of the cause? i've had a cold (or allergies??) for a bit and it's gotten a bit better, but my throat still feels funky ? i've been tested for stds, i have none

Hard to know: The back of the throat is lined with pockets of glandular material like the tonsils. Since you consume or inhale germs every day it is rather common for this area to have an irregular, bumpy surface with the glandular material beneath reacting/screening the germs as they come in. This process comes & goes, & can become inflamed & painful if any bad germs arise. It could also be allergies.
