Weel : Weel for what i can understand you hade rheumatoid arthrtis that was treated with embrel and Methotrexate , and at this time you are in remission . Congratulations on your acomplishment on the weight loss and the excersice program . Taht a winner you don t have to be wrried or concern about the Reclast (zoledronic acid) , pt wit RA have a higher risk of developing osteoporosis, and are the ones that need to be treated . As far as the side effects , is like with every medication, or any activity in life . And the risks are undersurveillance and known , and accepted by the authorities in the department of health as adecuate for use. So you received Reclast (zoledronic acid) , because there was an indication that justifies its use , and the likelihood of an adverse effect is low. There is no interaction between the Reclast (zoledronic acid) and the rheumatoid artjhrtis.
