Many possibilities: Lower abdominal pain can be from many things. For right lower pain, appendicitis is always a concern (pain usually worsens over time, with fever coming on). If very constipated, stool can back up and cause pain usually on the left. Bladder, ovary, and fallopian tube problems can cause pain in the pelvis where the bladder is. Bladder infections happen to many women, so her doctor will check for it.
