A member asked:

For what length of time do people live after being diagnosed with parkinson's disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal lifespan: Studies have shown that in non-demented parkinson disease patients, the lifespan is not changed. I have had patients who have lived decades with parkinson disease. On average, though, people are diagnosed in their 60s and live a normal lifespan so on average it would be somewhere in the range of 15 years.
