Hi there need some info my 3year old was born with a trigger thumb on the right hand thumb is bent and lock very seldom the wife opens it up can you advise a way forward it doesn't seem to pain or bother him the way it is for now?

Imaging: An x ray and a MRI will provide additional information. The use of passive exercise to strengthen the ligaments and muscles is advised. A physical therapist and a hand specialist will provide additional information. He may need a surgical repair, but the problem needs to be evaluated.
