Gastroenteritis: A viral gastrointestinal tract infection is likely, but food poisoning is also a possibility. At this time treatment would be resting, drinking adequate fluids including flat ginger ale to help the nausea. Avoid dehydration. Diet should be light and bland with no roughage. Greenish, yellowish, burning stool is nonspecific. Acetaminophen for aches. See MD If diarrhea or abdominal discomfort persist
