I have a 13 month old who's symptoms include coughing and congestion since 16 dec 2019. now in the last few days she has a rash where the skin has break behind her ears, legs, and neck. for the last 2 days she's had a fever of 101f +. she's irritable?

Doctor can evaluate: A child over age 3 months can have a fever when there is an infection, and acetaminophen is temporarily used for fevers over 100-101 degrees to make such a child more comfortable and less fussy. Parents should observe to see what symptoms are present, and also talk with the doctor to ask if the child needs an exam. With prolonged, multiple symptoms as in this case, the doctor will want to examine.
