I am having excruciating pain on the upper right back of my neck. i have taken ibuprofen and am waiting to see if it goes away. are neck braces available for purchase in pharmacies without a doctors prescription?

Neck braces: May be available in retail pharmacies, but they may address sub-optimally your pain. Given location and intensity of the pain best will be to check in with your doc or at an urgent care for a neuro exam and further imaging as needed. Once a clear diagnosis is formulated, better options for treatment will become available.
