There is growing evidence to show that some types of screening are costly-not just money-wise, but also due to false findings that get followed-up with harm caused by those follow-up procedures, sometimes invasive.

No such thing: There is no one test. There are multiple possible tests depending on the patients symptoms and physical exam. If an abnormality is discovered then a biopsy can be performed and a pathologist reviews the tissue.
