A member asked:

As you age is it ok to have some salt in your diet and what can i do to calm my stress and nerves? is it ok to check blood pressure everyday and why does blood pressure changes each day everyday?

Salt: If you don't have high blood pressure or edema( which can be from heart, kidney, or liver disease) you should be able to handle added salt or salty foods. Blood pressure is a dynamic state and varies considerably especially with activity, emotional state and heart rate. The goal is an average of 130/80 but lower is ok.
