A member asked:

Lets say someone caught hpv during sexual intercourse. and the person with hpv lights up a cigarette & blows smoke out his lungs in the air. if someone breaths in the smoke from the person with hpv can they catch hpv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: this way. If an HPV lesion is being burned away by laser, or electrocautery, this smoke plume may carry the viral infectious material. But not as you suggest.
