A member asked:

Severe leg pain for at least 4 decades and reflexes in knees now non-existent. diangosis with peripheral neuropathy ten years ago. should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

?etiology: Have your doctors uncovered the causation? Have you been treated with medications that can relieve the symptoms, such as lyrica, (pregabalin) or cymbalta? Are you experiencing increased weakness and/or numbness associated with the reflex losses? Is there a role for usage of medical food such as metanx. Might consider updating your evaluation, as neurologists may well be able to help you.
