Relax: It is likely the drainage tube (Eustachian) linking your middle ear to your throat is a bit swollen. This allows a vacuum to form in your middle ear. When you chew or yawn the tube straightens & air can enter to undue the vacuum. The effect produces sound. It is benign & should fade over time. Have your doc check this if it spooks you.
