Could a general practitioner test you for mercury poisoning?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can order labs: Hair for organic, urine for chronic elemental. I do need to give you a heads-up. There are some glitzy, phony laboratories that diagnose heavy-metal poisoning and a variety of other things and prescribe a bunch of weird treatments. And if you have made an emotionally-based decision that your symptoms are due to your amalgam fillings, mainstream labs won't support this. Be savvy & proactive.
