Acetaminophen safer: Acetaminophen has less side effects than tramadol.I’m not sure what you mean by toxic. Tramadol interact with many different medications and can cause seizures or death or serotonin syndrome. It is not very effective to relieve pain no more effective than acetaminophen. Acetaminophen can be dangerous at more than 3 g a day with kidney or liver disease or an overdose
