URI: I suspect that this is an early viral upper respiratory tract infection and expect a head cold and/or a dry,harsh cough to follow. At this time treatment is resting, drinking adequate fluids, gargling with warm salt water,sucking on lozenges and,if cough appears,, taking a soothing DM cough syrup recommended by your pharmacist. See MD if not gradually improving,fever,deep cough or symptoms worsen.
