When?: Did you get the burning sensation with swallowing the pill, or after taking it a while. Many antibiotics can be caustic to your throat if not washed down well. Alternatively people can get thrush, a yeast infection of the mouth and throat, with antibiotics. If you see white patches in the back of your throat see your doctor.
