A member asked:

If lung cancer is starting to cause sob, is it usually larger and seen on x-ray? or can sob be a symptom of smaller tumors?

SOB: Typically tumors that are larger are more likely to cause SOB. However, SOB caused by the tumor is usually secondary to problems with the tumor- PE, Pneumonia, effusion etc. SOB can be a sign of metatstaic disease where smaller tumor particles effect the lung tissue.
