A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain medications: Your surgeon can prescribe pain medication that is less apt to cause abdominal burning, aching ,cramping or nausea. Some opiods are better tolerated than others. In my experience Tramadol and fentanyl patch come to mind. Opiods often cause constipation and, thus, stool softener and or gentle laxative may be coadminstered. Pain management consultation may be arranged.
