Struggling with uti. i was on medication for uti 2weeks ago and now it seems that i again have uti. i am also on my period. i am not sexually active and i have no idea how i am getting so many times a uti. about my 4-5 time this year. help please.

Recurrent UTI'S: Recurrent UTI's can have several causes although they are often common in females due to a "short" urethral pathway to the bladder by bacteria. #1 Wipe from front to back with an disposable anti-bacterial "handy wipe" after voiding. #2) if UTI's persists see a Urologist for a bladder and urinary tract exam as obstruction often is a cause of recurrent chronic UTI's.
