I just noticed a dark black spot on iris of left eye, i too have twitching stabbing pain (not irritation ) and vertical double vision, rainbow halos, dark spot us like line connecting boundary of cornea and pupil, is it melanoma??

Eye doctor can help: Eye problems require special exams with special instruments. A patient can help his primary care doctor and eye doctor by first writing down on a calendar diary some descriptions of his symptoms, when they started, what their severities are, how long they last, what makes them better, what makes them worse, etc..., and show the diary to his doctors.
