Doctor can evaluate: Bladder pain or groin pain can be due to problems in the bladder or due to issues near the bladder. Infection in the bladder can cause pain, plus cloudy or bloody urine. Cystitis (bladder inflammation) that is not from infection is another cause of pain. A urine test and doctor's exam helps. If one has fever plus a bladder infection, the infection may have reached her kidneys.
