I had my tap water tested. lead showed 0.6 ug/l which is well below the level for reporting to the state. i am concerned but is this reason to not drink the water?

Get a filter: We're all exposed to lead regularly; there's evidence the average person today has 500 times more lead in our bodies than those who lived in the pre-industrial era. While your water doesn't have very high levels of lead it's best to avoid it as much as possible. Simple affordable filters like Brita remove 99% of lead though ones like Multi-Pure are even better.
