NSAIDs: Your pharmacy will carry OTC pain medication. Avoid disturbing the extraction site since you may dislodge the blood clot and create further issues. Do not rinse or gargle for 24 hours. Please contact your dentist with any additional concerns.

No on e knows the scope and extent of your surgery better than the General Dentist or Oral Surgeon who did the treatment. He/she has your medication list, health history, overall evaluation. Call the practitioner for proper post-surgical care.
