Ob-Gyn Dr can advise: A woman pregnant or not pregnant can easily catch stomach flu symptoms, which means a patient should contact her primary care doctor or Ob-Gyn doctor. We don't want a 32-week pregnancy to go into preterm labor because of gastroenteritis symptoms. Her doctors can help decide if any medications are ok to use, in addition to staying hydrated with treatments like Pedialyte popsicles.

Call OB doc now!: It can be hard to tell cramps from labor pains. Also an acute illness might trigger premature delivery. Go to Labor and Delivery now or an Emergency Department to be checked out, please.
