Hi,my 13 day old has milk coming out of her nose and mouth after ever feeding. this happens irrespective of the burp or holding her upright for 20mins. this mostly happens through the nose.we put her to sleep on her side but it still persists.help?

Reflux: Swallowing mechanisms can be immature at this age. The feeds may need to be thickened, less volume per feed and allowing time for digestion suggested. A referral to a feeding specialist may be helpful. Watch for any choking or sputtering and please follow up with your pediatrician.
