Hi doctor, i had etd for about 6 months and it all started when i traveled to texas on vacation and was pretty uncomfortable in the 8 hrs long flight. however the ear has been cleared but the faint ringing is still there when i am in a closed room.

Tinnitus: If the ETD was prolonged it may have caused some damage to the ear drum. The current tinnitus may or may not be related. If you wish to pursue the problem I recommend seeing an Otolaryngologist with a special interest in ETD and tinnitus at a university hospital otolaryngology department.
