Doctor can examine: A person who gets numbness, tingling, or odd sensations in a part of her body when in certain positions, may be pressing on the nerve to that area. Pressing on blood vessels to that part of the body is also possible, but less likely. She can see her primary care doctor to explain the problem. The ER can help too, if her regular doctor is not available. Some leg pain issues are serious emergencies.
