Your : Your symptoms sound like you might be suffering a pinched nerve in your neck. It could be from a spur or arthritis. When you turn your head, the spur probably is pinching the nerve coming out of the back of your neck. It probably has nothing to do with your diabetes mellitus. Rest, antiinflammatory agents like ibuprofen, alleve is helpful. Local heat to your neck is helpful. If hte pain persists over the next week, you might want to see your physician for further evaluation and treatment. Best wishes.
