Dentist can check: The gums around a tooth can get inflamed, called gingivitis. A dental cleaning can help. If there is a swelling or lump, there might be an abscess too. One's regular dentist can figure out what's going on. An online video consultation won't solve this issue; in-person dental care is needed.
