It depends.: The risk depends on whether you have a family history of colon cancer. Generally, 10 to 30 percent of colon cancers arise from sessile adenomas, according to this excellent article: https://www.aafp.org/afp/2000/0315/p1759.html Hope yours is not cancerous or even pre-cancerous! Eat a high fiber, low fat diet. Remember high animal fat diets have more cancer risk than diets high in vegetable fat
