A member asked:

How long is too long for a 14 weeks old, exclusively breastfed infant not to pop?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on details: A happy, growing, interactive baby who breastfeeds fine and doesn't complain, doesn't have a gassy or bloated tummy... may eat when he wants (during daytime) and poop when he wants. We don't keep track of when he poops, if he is just fine otherwise. He might poop after each feeding, or he might poop every 5 days. Breastfeeding poops at that age are between watery and sauce-like.
