My doctor prescribed 1000 mg clarithromycin once a day in addition to amoxicillin. whereas drugs.com says that for h pylori clarithromycin should be taken 500 mg every 12 hours. which one is better 1000 mg once a day or 500 mg every 12 hours?

Clarithromycin: Clarithromycin has a 24 hour and 12 hours formulation. I usually use the 500mg every 12-hour formulation for the treatment of h pylori and know that to be the standard way to treat it.
