A member asked:

Urine test has a u ph poci of 8.5. above the normal range. what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, a urine pH of 8.5 by itself is not a cause for concern, especially if you are a vegetarian. Wish you good health!
