Varies a lot: A great source of info is at https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/laboratory-biosafety-biosecurity/pathogen-safety-data-sheets-risk-assessment/human-immunodeficiency-virus.html, which says that survival is more than one week if HIV in blood serum is just left to dry on a glass slide. Of course, we commoners don't have glass slides at home.

How long does HIV virus live outside a human being?

Not long: Viruses are critters which live inside cells and must have nutrients of a cell to remain alive. Most will die rapidly after leaving the body unless retained in body fluids within cells in those fluids. This takes varying times to resolve. As a general rule HIV is not transmittable casually. It needs direct tissue contact. Blood, shared needles, sex, organ transplant.

How much is the lifespan of the HIV virus outside the human body?

Very brief: This virus is very susceptible to physical elements, particularly drying, heat, cold, etc. It may survive slightly longer when present in warm wet material like semen or vaginal secretions, and particularly in blood. As soon as these dry the organism will die quickly.

I don't think so: I'm not aware of any reason to believe that dried blood presents a risk.

HIV: Cdc laboratory studies have shown that drying HIV reduces the viral amounts by 90 to 99 percent within several hours. There have been no cases of HIV that were transmitted from contaminated surfaces.

No worries re: HIV: HIV -the virus that causes AIDS is acquired from sexual activity or injection drug use. You cannot get HIV infection from blood outside the body -since once it leaves the body it dies right away. This is obviously a good thing. For some viruses though, like Hepatitis B -they CAN survive outside the body. In India there's some Hep B there. There is a Hep B vaccine you can get. Hope you can be safe.
