It doesn't: It doesn't survive. There is no transmission of HIV in this scenario at all. There are other viruses such as hepatitis c or hepatitis b. But, HIV does not survive at all and is not a risk in the scenario you describe.

Its true virus cannot survive in an HIV positive drop of dried blood but what if a person touched a tiny wet drop of blood and has a cut?
