What can i do to treat pain in my heels ?

Custom orthotics: If the pain is on the bottom of your heels this is called proximal plantar fasciitis. A pair of custom molded functional forefoot orthosis made by a podiatrist will stop the pain and keep it away. These should be made with a nonweightbearing neutrally casted technique.

Depends on problem: Multiple reasons for heel pain, the most common being: plantar fasciitis achilles tendinitis depending on the source of the problem and the severity, treatments can consist of immobilization in a boot, antiinflammatories, stretching and rest. Would consult a local orthopedic surgeon for appropriate evaluation and management.

Combo treatment. : If you have plantar fasciitis, and hurt most with the first few steps in the morning, the more you can do together, the better: #1: supportive shoes. #2: firm inserts or orthotics. #3: oral antiinflammatories (check with your doctor). #4: stretching your foot and calf. #5: icing (10 min at a time). You may also need physical therapy or cortisone injections, or eswt if available in your area.
