Doctor can examine: Any mass, lump, or bump found in a woman's breast should be examined by her primary care doctor. If cancer is suspected, special studies can be done. If the mass is found not to be cancer (for example, an infected skin cyst or some other noncancerous lump), her doctor can offer other helpful advice and treatment.
