Still about 1 in 3: For women in the US, the American Cancer Society says 1 out of 3 women get cancer (in a lifetime). The goal is to be the other 2 out of 3 who don't get cancer. Thus following all the Healthy Living ideas should help. Then, a person has to be lucky, meaning not inheriting a tendency to cancer from one's parents. Only 1 of 5 women die of cancer, meaning 4 of 5 die from something else.

Risk: Check out x-ray risk.com. Your risk depends on age of exams and how far apart. The site takes that into consideration.
