I have had 2 ct scans of abdomen plus 5 mammograms 3 x-rays of stomach and a few dental x-rays im very scared about radiation cancer what are my risks and what can i do to try to prevent cancer ?

As the ACS says...: As the American Cancer Society says... cancer is often unpredictable, but there are things everyone can do to help reduce their cancer risk. Get regular cancer screening tests, such as for breast, cervical, or colon cancer. Stay at a normal healthy weight. Exercise regularly, such as 20-30 minutes, 4-5 times a week. Eat a healthy diet. Avoid tobacco. Limit or avoid alcoholic drinks.

Radiation cancer: Risks are lower than missing a diagnosis of cancer because you were not properly screened. Express your concerns to all of your practitioners, but follow their advice.
