A 28-year-old female asked:
i had a miscarriage around may, which i was told was due to blighted ovum but i'm still not sure. my question is, since i had d&c after the miscarriage, i've had a lump underneath my abdomen. can't it be anything else other than fibroid or cyst?

Pregnancy ?'s: A miscarriage in May and an "abdominal lump" at present may be a pregnancy. If you have not had a period since May, obtain a home pregnancy test or a serum HCG to be certain about possible pregnancy. If your periods have been normal for you since May, see your gyn for an exam and further testing and pelvic ultrasound.
