Cough: Dry cough may persist for weeks after specific viral or bacterial infections, not to mention conditions such as asthma that may cause such symptoms. The headaches are due to increased intracranial pressure during cough spells. Would suggest seeing your physician at least to try cough suppressant meds or order more tests if felt appropriate on history and exam.
