Irrigation: That study shows how much blood is getting into the heart muscle through the arteries and what parts of the heart are actually being irrigated (have a blood supply to survive). It also shows what areas of the heart are alive and functioning and what parts are non-functional because of previous decline or cease of blood supply. That allows the doctors to better asses the degree of damage
