A member asked:

Is it normal to have swelling above my collar bone?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not normal: A true swelling would indicate a mass of tissue which would not be normal above the collar bone. Occasionally fullness in both supraclavicular areas is seen in patients with emphysema but this is not due to solid tissue. Solid masses could be tumor, enlarged lymph glands or due to a blood clot in a vein. If you have swelling see a physician.
