Not neurologic: Most probably, this is a musculoskeletal (rather than neurologic) problem in the shoulder joint or surrounding tendons (strain, shoulder sublaxation, etc) or inflammation in the tendons, fluid collections in that area (bursa), or breast tissue, or swollen nodes . Please see your doctor for a physical exam. She may order images of the shoulder, arm, or breast area depending on the likely diagnoses.
