Strengthening exerci: Strengthening exercises would be most beneficial to rduce the knee pain, provided no other specific cause for the pain has been found, in which case that cause has to be treated/removed first. Strengthening of the front thigh (quadriceps) muscles as well as back of the thigh (hamstrings) would greatly help.
